Aviation
The Pacific Northwest has long been a center for aviation from the founding of Boeing in the early 20th century to the present day (excluding the South Carolina factor). There are dozens of international, national and local airports along with several outstanding air museums. Living close to Paine Field in Everett, Washington I’ve been lucky to have experienced many Free Fly Days put on by the Flying Heritage Museum. This gallery is a combination of images from those events and from museum visits. The skies here are alive with the best aeronautical history and technology, on both a private and commercial level. All photos were taken at Paine Field unless otherwise noted.
